After school cooking clubs are a great, fun way for children to wind down after a hard day at school, at the same time introducing them to new tastes, cultures and the Spanish language.
Our sessions are stimulating and rewarding as the children will prepare and eat some scrummy food. We often start the sessions with the children making their own fresh fruit milkshake to give them plenty of energy for the cooking!
See the sort of thing we might make…
¡Que rico! We will introduce children to Spanish, with basic words to start them off. As they cook, children become more confident in practicing and repeating Spanish vocabulary, numbers and phrases.
At the end of the programme children will take away a placemat with Spanish words and a certificate.
Parents can also receive an e-newsletter with all the recipes from the programme, along with some useful tips. Children also take home the chef’s hat that they decorated in the first session.
Dont worry about buying aprons and equipment, we provide all the kit and ingredients.
Schools – We are very flexible and will literally cater to your needs! Just give us a call…
Parents – If you would like to see us at your child’s school have a chat with the Headteacher.
